sustainable construction?
The benefits of the sustainableconstructions are innumerable - in addition to the preservation of the environment for future generations, there is a general consensus that the sustainable construction implies improvements of productivity and general health of its users, an important reduction of remainders, less water and energy consumption, general reduction in the operative costs and a superior quality of inner air. In summary, ecological construction is an intelligent decision as much for the environment as for the community and the local economy. Economic benefits. There is a myth which says that the ecological buildings are automatically more expensive. But, if the design and planning are developed correctly, the word sustainable will not imply increases in the costs of the construction. In effect, there are numerous examples of buildings planned with an ecological perspective exist that are not more expensive: thanks to its strategies of power and material efficiency in the integral design, multiple initial expenses - from the electrical systems to the materials - are diminished. In case that the initial costs are greater, these will be recovered before a traditional building, since their costs of operation will be considerably low. Sustainable buildings generally create a more pleasant and healthy atmosphere for the users, which implies a greater productivity of the employees. In addition, they reduce the probability of absence by disease. The value of the building maintains better its market price than a traditional building.
