 Rating Tool

Our Council has taken on the challenge of developing a National Green Building Rating Tool (SICES), a voluntary certification with a broad based consensus representing an important part of the construction industry, conceived to be a tool for market transformation. SICES is designed as a national standard for sustainable buildings and developments. This is a continuous process, periodically updated by the Technical Committee and with member consensus in order to guarantee broadest representation possible. Some of the most critical aspects to be dealt with in this rating tool will be site management, water conservation, energy efficiency, material selection and interior air quality.
